A recipient of a Build Fund loan, Ash & Elm, led by husband and wife duo Andrea and Aaron Homoya, opened their doors in 2016. Located on the near east side in the Neidhammer building, Ash & Elm offers a variety of ciders daily and releases a small-batch cider monthly.
Ash & Elm enjoyed an award-winning year in 2017, taking home four medals from the Great Lakes International Cider and Perry Competition in Grand Rapid. These include:
- Silver medal: Headlong Cider
- Silver medal: Sunset Tart Cherry Cider
- Bronze medal: Dry Cider
- Bronze medal: Semi-Sweet Cider
They also received a bronze medal for their Sunset Tart Cherry Cider during the Indiana Microbrewer’s Festival.
In addition to their tasting room, Ash & Elm cider is available on tap at several local venues and available in cans at select local retailers. Visit them to taste some great local ciders and to support a local business.
