Opening their doors in the fall of 2013, Shoefly Public House is a full-service restaurant owned by a Craig and Kait Mariutto. As lovers of food and community, Craig and Kati wanted to create a family-friendly neighborhood pub that brings both together in one spot.
Since receiving the Build Fund loan, Shoefly Public House has been able to create 22 jobs and use 4,800 square feet of commercial space for their restaurant. The Build Fund loan helped Shoefly secure all equipment necessary to run a full-service restaurant in the heart of King Park.
“The Build Fund has been great,” says Craig and Kait. “It gave us the funds we needed to launch our first business. Without the Build Fund, our dream may have never been possible. The process is clear and everyone is helpful and available to answer any questions — big or small.”
We can’t wait to see what’s next for this local pub.
