During the first grant round of 2017, The Indianapolis Foundation announced it awarded King Park Development Corporation $60,000 to support the Build Fund and economic development initiatives in Indianapolis. As the only CDFI devoted to supporting economic development in Indianapolis, the Build Fund provides flexible and affordable funding to create jobs in underserved communities. Since 2015, the Build Fund has helped create over 180 job commitments and supported 9 new businesses.
